MMRV "PROQUAD" - INSERT VS. VIS

MMMRV "PROQUAD" is made by vaccine manufacturer Merck. This page shows the difference between the Adverse Reactions listed on the Vaccine Information Sheet "VIS" (that you receive before vaccinations) and the Adverse Reactions listed on the Manufacturers Insert (that you do not receive)

ADVERSE REACTIONS ON VIS

Sore arm from the injection / Fever / Redness or Rash / Swelling of Glands in the cheeks or neck / Temporary Low Platelet Count / Pneumonia / Infection in the Brain or Spinal Cord / Encephalitis / Meningitis / Deafness / Long-Term Seizures / Coma / Lowered Consciousness / Brain Damage / Fainting / Severe Allergic Reaction

ADVERSE REACTIONS

*Because clinical trials are conducted under widely varying conditions, adverse reaction rates observed in the clinical trials of a vaccine cannot be directly compared to rates in the clinical trials of another vaccine and may not reflect the rates observed in practice.
